We’ve been in touch with Santa’s administrative staff and we’ve arranged to have Santa come visit! He wants to ride one of our fire engines, so we will be taking him for a tour down and through some communities along Rt 11 on Friday, December 22nd, starting about 7pm! Due to Santa’s busy schedule, we won’t be able to stop anywhere, but we will have air horns/lights and Santa waving!
December 10th brings about our annual Christmas Bazaar along with December’s Pancake Breakfast. The Pancake Breakfast will be held from 7am-12pm and the Bazaar continues until 2pm.
Additionally, our Honorary Fire Chiefs will have a booth set up to sell items in support of the Miss Clear Brook Honorary Fire Chief’s Scholarship fund.
Clear Brook sent Engine 13 to represent the department in the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival’s Firefighters’ Parade on Friday night. Many personnel worked diligently to prep with many hours put into cleaning up the engine for the parade.
The work in detailing Engine 13 paid off as Clear Brook was awarded “Best In Parade” at the awards later that evening.
